I appreciate their enthusiasm and their desire to make this, but I can’t help but feel uncomfortable with the idea at the most basic level. Power Rangers and “grimdark” just isn’t a combination that I’d say would work. They’re trying something, and I applaud them for it, but I think that an attempt at making something super serious kinda takes all the fun out of it. Still, maybe they’ll turn this around into something interesting?
