hey everyone! i’m looking to put together a zine about shoplifting and i need some content and others to help organize and get the word out as well as distribute.
i envision it containing comics/stories about personal experiences, tips tricks and methods of lifting, essays on the ethics of shoplifting from major corporations as opposed to local businesses, the relationship between queer people and poc and shoplifting, as well as info on what to do if you get caught and what the laws are in different areas. but really submissions can be anything!! as long as it’s about shoplifting and can be printed, i want it.

i wanna talk about something that i’m sure nobody here is about to take kindly to. it’s something that i’ve actively told myself i won’t even talk about on tumblr because tumblr’s typical idea of “social justice” is an ass-backward venomous screaming match between children. but it’s something that’s actively effected me, so.
over the course of the past few months i’ve noticed a steady increase in the active demonization of heterosexuality and male sexuality in general. i understand that many people belong to oppressed groups and there is a certain want to strike back for that.
i am agender. i identify as neither male nor female, and have spent a long time figuring out what gender means to me, and to many other people. i am pansexual, and have been in relationships with a variety of differently sexed and gendered people. i am not the “typical white male hetero sex scum” i often see this kind of content target toward. however, being male-bodied and being involved in a relationship with a female-bodied person, i’ve felt the effects of it.
tumblr’s open and accepting nature as of a couple years ago helped me come to terms with my sexuality in gender in full. it’s now fucking it up again. it’s to the point where i could unironically post “feed me dick” and feel fine doing so because tumblr loves gay people and gay men doing gay things, but if i express interest in a female body, i feel disgusting. i’ve been thinking about this for quite a while and i’ve realized that the “funny i hate male heteros” stance so many social justice superheroes is taking is actually actively hurting my sexuality and my romantic relationship. it has actively made me less comfortable with my partner.
that’s fucked up and you all need to fucking stop.
that’s not what this “fight” is about. if you wanted your social “justice” - your revenge, your payback, there it is. you’re actively hurting people and their completely fucking legitimate relationships. maybe it’s just me. but if one out of millions - one who does not even fit into the demographic these jokes are targeted at - feels that way, it’s worth realizing that others are probably feeling it too. so stop it, for the love of whatever.
