Okay Guys Can You Just…Stop With the Whole “Mightyena Is Based On Teh Wolfs” Thing?
Because…no. They’re not. They’re based on Hyenas. They have the same stocky build, blunt snout and shaggy black mane as Hyenas. The only thing even vaguely canine about them is their ears. Which is like…if we’re going with that logic Wartortle is actually a fucking squirrel Pokemon.
Also, while we’re at it:
Hyenas are not cowardly scavengers. They’re actually very proficient hunters with a very high rate of success.
They live in clans not “packs” or prides.
